A VERY PRODUCTIVE DAY

I found out Wednesday morning that we would not be Caleb sitting today or tomorrow.  Our son had the days off and would be keeping Caleb at home.  As much as we enjoy having Caleb most every week day, there are things that I just can’t get done when he is here – I guess I spend too much time playing.   Since I had the extra time I got up this morning and did a thorough cleaning of our home.  It sure feels good to have it all done at one time.  I moved a couple of things around and thought I would share a few pictures of my Americana décor.

Tomorrow I plan to spend the day with my friend, Connie, who recently lost her Mom.  She said she just needed to get away for the day.  We are going shopping and out to lunch and having a girls day.  I am really looking forward to it.  I need to get a few things for vacation.

Speaking of vacation – we decided to rent a cabin near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.  We are looking forward to a relaxing get away, and also enjoying the mountains and maybe some antiquing.  If you know of any great spots in the area I would love to hear from you.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

Sue

Sue, Love the table runner, your coffee table display and the entry. Everything looks so pretty. I love Piegon Forge, Tn. It's about a 5 hr drive from here but we have been more times than I have finger and toes. There is a neat Prim shop Calld Rebecca's Thyme there and another cute one,but I can't remember the name of it. If you go to the Old grist mill in Piegon, Forge the shop is in a little strip mall across the street. Rebecca's Thyme is out a bit, not on the main drag. If you want the address let me know. I can get it for you. Hope you have a great trip.

Sue,
Very patriotic, just in time for the 4th.
I still need to tweak some things outside and get some wreaths made for the front porch.
I love summer.
