First, I would to express my heartfelt condolences to all those who have been affected by the devastating storms recently. My thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and your families.

My home town has a wonderful Flea Market twice a year, called the Fancy Flea, and today was the day for the Spring event. A couple of city blocks are closed off and vendors set up in the street.
One of my new prim friends, Judi, who is a vendor at the monthly Arcadia Street Fair, came up for the event and we got to shop and hang out together for a while. We like a lot of the same things, so we had a great time looking for those “I need to take it home” items. This market had a lot of Shabby Chic, but I did find a few prim items I couldn’t live without.
This is everything I bought today.
I found two large wooden bowls – these are 16 inches across. I love the knot hole in this one – not sure where I am going to use this one.
I displayed the other one in a cupboard in the Living Room, along with the bunch of lavender.
Here is a close-up of the molds – wish I had had the bunny one before Easter.
Another crockery jug to add to my collection – can’t ever have too many of them.
After leaving the Fancy Flea my hubby and I went to lunch, and then he drove me to Dundee to visit the Prim Shack - a great prim shop that just happened to be having a sale today! I found this adorable little shelf sitter doll. I got another one for a gift but I can’t show you because I am sending it to a blog friend as a surprise.
With their permission I took a couple of pictures of the shop. Lots of prim goodies to accessorize your home.
Visit the Prim Shack website – you can access their blog from there.
I HAVE A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS
How long do you leave your Spring/Easter decorations out? I packed mine away yesterday - I was getting tired of looking at bunnies.
What do you decorate with next? I need ideas and welcome your input.
I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sue

Hello Sue, Just found your blog from visiting another blog and have become your newest follower. Wow that flea market sounds great. We have Market Day once a month around our square and it's crafts, but in our area prims are NOT popular and its usually nothing that interest me. Love the wooden bowls you got. Would love you to stop by and visit Thru Nanas Window and follow me back. I am trying to reach 100 followers so I can do a first giveaway. Will visit you often, and hoping we can become friends.
Sue, great day for a market!
I packed my bunnies and such away, tired of them too....I haven't done much, but more americana to come, then that's out til fall..have fun! OLM

Love your finds Sue. Those bowls are wonderful. I packed all my stuff away, Monday after Easter. I have just a few flowers in the house now, with the usual decor. Around Memorial day will use geraniums and flags, until Labor Day. Then fall.lol Wish I could find a good flea market. We have to drive to Nashville for one(3 hours) Off to finish getting ready for church,

I put my bunnies away too! Im ready to do up some flags for memorial day !! hoping the sun continues to stay out !
Happy Sunday Sue.
What a fun Saturday you had and lots of great goodies with a friend. Oh and lunch with hubby - even greater.
I bring out my Easter around the middle of the week before Easter, and on that Monday they get packed away and the Spring items come out. Which we did yesterday)

Great finds Sue! I especially like the wood bowls. I agree with the others . . . Americana is next.
Hi Sue! Found your blog through Earlene's & added myself as a follower! What a great flea market, wonderful goodies! I love brown jugs too & agree that you can never have enough! ~Kriss~
Hi
I bring out my red, white and blue stuff. I will post on my blog when I am finished.
Probably not until next weekend.
How fun! It's probably a good thing it's mostly shabby chic... save you some $$, lol! Love all your goodies you came home with but especially the wooden bowls! I am always on the lookout for them and they are usually out of my price range. The Prim Shack looks like a neat place!
I use to decorate for the holidays by when they fall. Now, I get out and put away my holiday decor by how I'm feeling and sometimes even the weather so it's different every year. I jump right into patriotic after I put up spring/Easter because come August... my favorite FALL comes out! I can see in your wonderful header picture that you're thinking red, white, and blue! =]
Have a delightful week my friend!
