I love FALL – the nip in the air on an autumn morning and the colors of the season! Since we live in Central Florida we don’t always see a lot of foliage change color, or even feel the nip in the air until much later in the season – but I can dream, can’t I?
I enjoy this season so much that I can hardly wait to put out my decorations for Fall. I usually begin on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and hopefully get it all done by Monday. But this year I don’t think it will be a weekend process. As I unpacked my storage containers this morning there were quite a few decorations that I didn’t want to use any longer – they just weren’t prim enough. As I find myself more and more in love with the primitive style of decorating I find that I want to weed out the “cutesy country” stuff and replace it with the “simple primitive”. Now I need to decide what can be used and what I can make or make-over to get the prim look that I desire.
Here is the contents of my storage containers after I unpacked them this morning.
I have already sorted it all into keep or give away and boxed up the donations to take to the TS. I wish I could say that the keep items have found their place in our home – but most of them are still sitting in the garage. I need INSPIRATION to decide what to do with I have, and what I need to add. So…I am off to check out some forums and other blogs for inspiration.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
Sue

Remember if it is something you dont think is prim enough there's many ways to prim those babies right up!!
This is my FaVoRiTe time of the year...the crisp air...warm colors...bon fires...and fresh baked smells...everything is just comfy and cozy to me!!
